30 June: flowers damaged by rain, no botrytis, nice name, unspectacular color, mat, deadhead.
15 July: fades nicely, older blooms extremely faded, flower color inconsistent, unattractive fading, spent flowers are very noticeable, nice color, nonuniform height, lots of bloom, not as full.
30 July: novel color, spent blooms noticeably fade, very nice contrast between throat and petals, some deadheading needed, nonuniform flowering height, just okay.
15 Aug: botrytis, range of colors, seductive array of purple colors, very strong color, have really perked up, blah, nonuniform height.
30 Aug: nice saturated color with white throats, rich color, deadhead, colorful, holding well, declining, still decent, many blooms still.
15 Sept: flowers look royal, flowers still going strong, foliage poor, blooms still nice.
